About

George Miller (b. 2005) is a composer and performer from Portland, Oregon. Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor's of Music in Composition with David Conte at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Previously, George studied piano and composition with Michael Allen Harrison, with whom he frequently collaborates.George has performed and premiered works of his own and others at venues along the west coast including the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, and the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts. He has been featured and interviewed on All Classical FM and local news broadcasts to promote himself and organizations such as Play-It-Forward, of which George is an alumnus.As a performer, George is an accomplished pianist and multi-instrumentalist. He has collaborated with a variety of ensembles and musicians, including SFCM's New Music Ensemble and Conservatory Chorus, the Areté Singers, orchestras, choirs, jazz groups, chamber ensembles, instrumentalists, and vocalists.

Engraving

George has collaborated on engraving and publishing projects with the likes of David Conte, Michael Allen Harrison, and a number of student composers and performers. He has prepared scores and parts for musical theater, opera, orchestras, art song, chorus, chamber music, and solo instrumental music. His current projects include an animated video series, Art of Canon, by Ericsson Hatfield.
